Positive: The breakfast was very basic, but welcome, given that it was effectively free on top of a very good value stay. Real coffee, not from one of those automatic machines which deliver weirdness. The proprietors were very helpful and stayed up far longer than our planned arrival time as we had a long and complicated journey from Dieppe (which is close!! Amazing what one key road closure can do... The 'chambre bleue' was in the attic of a large hotel/bar in the centre of St-Nicolas d'Aliencourt, right opposite the (enormous) church. Entrance is at the back of the building, down a driveable pathway on the left. There's free parking (not fenced in) there, away from the main road.

Negative: It's fine. If you are looking for aesthetic luxury, go elsewhere but pay lots more.

Summary: As a stopover close to the Dieppe ferry, it's excellent.
