Summary: My recent stay at the Crown Paradise Golden was disappointing overall. The room had visible mold in the bathroom, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Dining was another weak point: the buffet offered limited choices, very few vegetarian options, and the selections were largely the same each day with minimal variety. Surprisingly, there was very little authentic Mexican food available. While the barman was consistently friendly and welcoming, the general dining staff were not as approachable. Additionally, I was not allowed to take a plate and fork to my room to eat food I had purchased myself, which felt unnecessarily restrictive. Although there were a few positive interactions, the overall experience did not meet expectations.
