Positive: Location was great ,although only local pub is neither welcoming or inviting . Munton cottage has been renovated very well ,it was well appointed with quality linen,towels and furnishings and all you needed in the kitchen. However ,it was a dog friendly cottage with far to many soft cushions and fabric the cushions had not been changed in awhile and were quite smelly. There were lovely touches like milk in the fridge and nice biscuits and tea ,also liked the two flask mugs available to use. Sadly upstairs bedroom lacked any proper cleaning .Very disappointing to find dirt build up and thick cobwebs hanging on to lampshades ,draws and thick layer of diet build up on fabric headboard . No mattress protectors on the beds ,thise were found unwashed ,screwed up under the bed !! I would stay here again if it just had a little more attention to the cleaning .
