Positive: The Nordic lodge is definitely a more modern, quirky and luxurious choice in that area comparing to other accomodation choices. It's conveniently located, up the hill so away from the main road and has stunning views of the mountains. Supermarkets are within walking distance. The indoor pool and saunas are a nice addition although we didn't make use of any. Our apartment was very spacious with a beautiful big balcony and overall had a cosy feeling. Beds were very comfortable. The hosts were friendly enough and made a few recommendations.
Negative: We booked 6 nights at the Nordic lodge as we wanted to have a longer time in one location at the end of our Austrian trip. Bad Kleinkirchheim probably doesn't need 6 nights so looking back on our trip I wouldn't have booked the longest part of our trip there. I was hoping there'll be more of an airbnb feel to the lodge with laundry facilities etc and that wasn't the case. Also, I thought there was a restaurant on site but it turned out that's a sister lodge in the area for adults only. It's definitely one of the better options in terms of accommodation in the area but I wouldn't say we were wowed by it. There wasn't anything wrong with it but it wasn't a memorable place for any reason in particular either.
