A detached chalet with enclosed garden, located at the end of the row with no through traffic, with a commanding sea view to the front and woodland at the rear. This much-celebrated park has a vintage charm and ensures that the accommodations are well spaced so you can really embrace the natural environment with visiting wildlife. The park has a central hub with an indoor heated swimming pool. There is a well-equipped gym, tennis courts, a sauna, a steam room, a restaurant, bar and pizza café and an onsite laundrette too. A leisure pass is required to access some of these facilities (available by direct purchase from the Park Reception). There are cycle hire providers on site if you wish to cycle and enjoy the park trails and your local surroundings.
There is a charming village square, which often hosts live entertainment and mini festivals and there is also a well-stocked shop selling lots of local produce as well as those important everyday essentials. Here you can also play table tennis. As well as lots of organised activities for young and old alike, you can enjoy nature trails where you are sure to encounter some of the many red squirrel residents and a bug hotel and bat population along with well-stocked ponds for coarse fishing and sea fishing at nearby Webourne beach (fishing licence required). Night owls will love that this unspoilt park is a designated Dark Sky Discovery Site too, so it is perfect for star gazing. If you come from a city, we can confidently say you will be genuinely surprised at just how many stars there are! This park is so celebrated that Norfolk Heritage Steam railway has a stop here so you can hop on the train and travel in style to the bustling seaside resort of Sheringham or into the gorgeous Georgian town of Holt. Venture a little further and you will find a host of things to see and do including visits to coastal habitats such as marshes, quays, wide sand and shingle beaches. Other places of interest include, the Norfolk Broads, RSPB Cley Marshes, Sheringham Park and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, along with the Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham Estates and Amazonia Zoo too and you will soon see why this area is so popular. Weybourne beach is just 6 minutes’ drive or a 1½ mile walk. Weybourne train station is situated just outside the park entrance gates (10 minutes’ walking distance).
