Privately tucked away near the end of a private road, with incredible sweeping views from Mt. Washington and the Presidentials to Cannon Mountain and the Kinsman Range and a lovely southern exposure perched on a mountainside, this unique home is a breathtaking addition to the offerings of Bretton Woods Vacations. Spanning 3 levels and 3515 sq. ft. with a modern open-concept floor plan, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (2 full and 2 half), this home is just an incredible retreat. With picture windows to soak in the unparalleled views, the home itself could very well be featured on the cover of an architectural digest. But the real show comes from its location, perched up high on a mountainside with incredible views and a stunning mountain feel from the rocky outcrops and beautiful woods that surround the home, secluded yet a short drive from the lively downtown areas of Bethlehem and, in the summer, Franconia.
Another unique feature of this home is the large wood fired barrel sauna, with a large front window overlooking the mountains and the woods. Tucked away in the woods surrounding the home, just down a short path from the house, the sauna includes a small changing room and it is a truly incredible way to reconnect with nature and relax your muscles and your mind.
The main living space is open and very bright, thanks to an abundance of windows and a central glass enclosed light shaft built from what was originally supposed to be an elevator shaft for this high end residential home. High end kitchen appliances include a rare indoor grill, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 2 half baths. Deck with Solo stove. Two living areas, each with its own wood burning fireplace (firewood not provided), give plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the great indoors. -Check-in: Any time after 4PM; Check-out: 11 am. Unauthorized early arrivals or late checkouts subject to $100/hr fee.
-Parking Limit: 4 Vehicles. Please contact Bretton Woods Vacations if you have any questions.
- No Unauthorized Guests or Pets: Guest and pet count must match the number in your reservation. Please let us know if the number has changed. Unauthorized pets or guests subject to $300 fee and immediate termination of your stay with no refunds. Absolutely NO PARTIES without express authorization. Pet fee for pet friendly units ($100/pet per stay) is not included in Airbnb quotes.
-Quiet Hours: From 10 p.m. to 8 a.m please keep noise to a minimum. During the day, please make sure noise levels are low enough not to bother others, and never leave a barking dog unattended! No fireworks on property. A $100 fee may be imposed for violations of these rules.
-No smoking inside the unit; $250 fee for violation.
-We are in Bear Country! No trash or food is to be left outside at any time; $100 fee for violations.
-Some of our homes are equipped with exterior cameras for security purposes.
-We have relaxed our cancellation policies. However, please note that there will be no exception to these policies, for no reason, no matter what the circumstances. Travel insurance is available on our website and from a variety of other sources; it is the traveler's responsibility to decide whether to protect their purchase or not. Due to contractual obligations with property owners, we will not be able to make any exceptions under any circumstances.
-Our homes are in rural locations in the North Country. We live in a beautiful environment surrounded by pristine natural habitats, and share this land with a variety of animals. We do our best to ensure a proper balance between pest control and health concerns and appreciate your patience if a critter may find its way in. Our team is always available to come take care of it. To help prevent issues, please refrain from leaving doors propped open and avoid leaving food in open space which could attract rodents and/or insects.
- Rates are based on standard occupancy of 2 guests per bedroom. Additional guests, if allowed in the specific property, incur a $25/per person nightly surcharge. As long as the correct number of guests is provided at booking, this is included in the total rate shown at booking! Children under the age of 2 do not count toward occupancy.
