Travel Purpose: business

Positive: It is a gorgeous home with spectacular views. Everything we needed, and very clean. Beautifully decorated with new furnishings. We would return if we had another family with whom to share the space and price. Impressed with the quietness of the property, amazing lake and tree views. We enjoyed the area, trails, creeks, downtown Bayfield and Durango. Perfect week to see the peak fall colors.

Negative: Pouring rain for several days - so washer dryer location was less than ideal (you had to go outside to go to lower level). The road to the house is single lane, dirt and no guard rails, but even with all the rain, it felt safe and wide enough. Cell service was spotty. Master is upstairs as stated. The living room was just shy of perfect - beautiful views and furniture but uncomfortable to watch the TV - as it was so high up on the fireplace wall. These are minor things relative to the beautiful view and deck. It would have been nice to have a paper version or binder of house info. The link in the email didn't work (maybe because of connection) and we were unable to use cell phones to call Vacasa because of no service.

Summary: Beautiful! Sadly, more than we needed (didn't use 2/3 bedrooms), thus pricey for only 2 people.
