Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The room was spacious with a very comfortable sitting area looking out over rooftops to the mountains beyond. There was even a little balcony, although we didn’t make use of it. There was a well stocked minibar and a kettle and coffee machine. Everything was clean and the bathroom facilities were good. Our towels were changed daily, although we had not requested it. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide range of hot and cold foods. I especially enjoyed the apple cake. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful and English was spoken. There was a “happy hour” with free drinks and snacks every evening, although we did not attend this. I booked our return taxi to the airport only to find that the hotel would have done it for us and paid the fare too! The location is excellent- just 3 minutes from the main Vitosha Boulevard shopping street with its many cafes and restaurants.

Negative: The lift was a bit noisy but not sure they can do anything about that.
