With an architectural background influenced by Circassian heritage and a strong connection to the desert of Wadi Rum, he created a property that combines traditional character with thoughtful design. The camp was built using natural desert stones and locally sourced materials, blending authentic Bedouin style with subtle Circassian architectural elements. Over the years, the property has developed from traditional Bedouin tents into well-constructed rooms built with natural stone and brick, offering full hotel-style amenities and private bathrooms. In addition to Bedouin rooms and chalets, the camp also features panoramic glass domes designed to provide views of the surrounding desert landscape. Positive: The staff at Bait Ali were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. On our last day, they arranged a jeep tour through the desert and allowed us to customize the itinerary, visiting the places we were most interested in rather than following the standard tourist route. They also kindly offered us a late check-out so we could freshen up after returning from the tour. We also booked a last-minute starlight tour, which ended up being the highlight of our trip. Experiencing the silence, vastness, and beauty of the desert at night was truly unforgettable and unlike anything we had ever experienced before. The food was excellent, both the included dinner and breakfast were delicious. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed, including towels, fresh linens, and reliable air conditioning. We were even upgraded to a larger room than the one we had originally booked, which was a lovely surprise. There is also a pool on the property that is open at all times. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to use it because we decided to spend a day in Aqaba by the Red Sea, which was beautiful and only a short drive away. If we could change one thing about our trip, it would be to spend more time in Wadi Rum instead of Amman. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Bait Ali to anyone planning a visit to Wadi Rum.
