Positive: The cottage is behind a short wall, literally on the beach, when the tide is out, you can walk round to the next bay/town and for miles on the white sandy beach. The cottage was lovely and in a perfect location to see the area. There are 3 pubs in the area, 1 doing snacks only, but 2 serving food, which was nice. There is also a cafe and sandwich shop. Everyone in the area was very friendly. The beach was perfect for dogs and they were allowed on this beach. Good for walks here and nearby. We did the Lily Ponds walk, the national coastal path and the deer park. They had a washing machine and a small washing line. The cottage, kitchen and bathroom were clean.

Negative: There was no welcome pack and no milk, although tea bags and coffee were provided. The customers from the Swan Inn pub next door, did tend to sit on the wall outside the cottage as well as outside the pub, which could be noisy with people chatting if you were inside in the evening. We saw a bag in the utility room asking us to put used bedding in, which I was more than happy to do, but I regretted doing this when I saw the rather dirty quilt underneath. I feel there is no need for this! New quilts are literally £13 in Asda, or the one on the bed could be put in the washing machine! The pillows were also flat and not very comfortable, they could use new ones here too, and I didn't dare remove the pillow protectors lol! Again with the towels, they were quite thin, old and well used, new ones wouldn't go amiss. Lots of cobwebs everywhere.
