Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The location was superb. The property was very beach accessible, private, and quiet. The deck, though messy and in poor condition was very nicely shaded and offered a wonderful tranquil sitting area. The tiled floors throughout were easily cleaned and comfortable to walk on.

Negative: The house itself inside was cleaned well but there was a huge amount of trash, including rotting food, in the garage and by the pool pump area behind the primary bedroom. The pool was not filled with water, had not been cleaned in a very long time, and there wasn’t even a net provided for us to clean it ourselves. The pool deck and back porch deck had not been blown off and had a lot of debris that we had to sweep off ourselves just to walk around. The furniture throughout the house was in disrepair and there was even a broken sitting chair left randomly in the garage. The shower door in the second back bedroom was broken. The entire modem and router set up for the property had been left unplugged and disconnected so we had to launch an investigation into sorting cables and plugs just to watch tv not to mention get wifi. The electric switches in this house make no sense as to their location relative to the application and appliances they control, making navigating fans and hallway lights an unwelcome adventure.

Summary: Nice private quiet and close to beach but needs some love before staying again.
