Positive: The apartment itself was nice and had good AC. The pool area was nice but very dirty even after it had been cleaned.

Negative: Unfortunately, the area is about 2 streets in the wrong direction. We did not feel safe walking back at night if it wasn’t for the police permanently stationed at the end of the road which says enough about the area. If you are brave enough to stay here then stick to turning directly right out of the building and right again at the corner with police. We were very unlucky with our downstairs neighbours on the first night, who decided to have a very very crazy loud party from 2am-9am. The “24 hour hotline” advertised by the property did not work and none of my concerns were acknowledged until 8:30am. If I was a lone female traveller, I would have been terrified. The party also took over the roof terrace and pool area, leaving empty beer cans and packets of drugs around the pool. This meant we could not enjoy the sunrise. The cleaning was not very thorough either as we had a big sticky patch on our floor that came up easily with a wet cloth so things aren’t being mopped in between tenants. The pool floor was filthy and the table wasn’t wiped down after the party despite our report of the state it was left in. I understand the party was out of the owners control, but we were only offered a “complimentary late check out” which was no help as our flight was at 10am the day we left or 10% off our next stay which we would never redeem as we live in the UK. The party people will have been fined $300 for having a party and $100 for smoking as per the properties rules so I do not understand why we were not offered even a small amount of compensation. This was the most disappointing thing of all. They also charge an extortionate amount for early check in, over $120 for checking in before noon or $55 (!!!!!!) for 2 hours early. There’s no luggage storage either, so if you are going to arrive before 3pm, you are better off paying more for a more helpful property.

Summary: Would not return.
