Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Close to the NCE airport. Less than €20 to Uber. Comes with private and gated parking vs the street parking would be hard to find. Our flight was delayed so we didn't get in until after 23:00. The host did leave instructions to allow us to allow self check in, but they would only send 12 pm the day of check-in vs other property would send info sooner. Considering we were charged or we paid the full amount 7 days before check-in date, I would expect to receive instruction sooner.
Negative: The host only communicated via WhatsApp and instructions were sent in chat pieces and via videos in multiple dialogs, which was hard to follow. There were so many locks, 3 locks on the condo door alone. It took us a while to get into the condo even though we got into the building just fine. The unit appeared cleaned but the floor was dusty and wasn't mopped. Our feet/socks were all blackened after walking around the unit for 10 minutes. We kept our shoes on after that. There was only one kitchen dish towel, no spong or dish clothes to wash dishes. There is no dishwasher (as posted correctly) so everything needs to be hand washed, which would be fine but how are u supposed to wash dishes without proper set up? We found some dishes to be dusty and some not free of debris. The linens were minimal even though they changed an extra fee for them. The shower curtain was fabric which did not keep the water contained in the shower. So we had to use our bath towels to wipe up the floor, which was dirty 🤮. We also found a stained comforter in the master bedroom closet which got us all grossed out There is only one AC (split unit) unit in the bedroom which was noisy and would come on every 5 min or so. There is no AC in the living room and kitchen. There was hardly any air flow moving in those rooms.
Summary: We made it work for 2 nights.
