Positive: A friendly welcome and plenty of information with good communication made our stay here wonderful. The house is quiet, clean and full of character. With a friend joining us, we made full use of the excellent kitchen and lounge, plus the outdoor courtyard and used the town of Requena as our base to explore some truly gorgeous countryside. (Requena is a non-touristy town with many quirks. This means its more cost effective than other areas to stay. If you have a car and want an easy base where you can travel and enjoy sightseeing, I highly recommend you stay at Ca La Abuela)

Negative: A small thing, but we would have liked to have a kettle. The rest of the kitchen was well stocked but we had to boil water on the stove for tea, or use the microwave.

Summary: Highly recommend
