Positive: The staff are really accommodating and friendly! I cannot communicate in Bahasa Indonesia, but everything I needed was available — laundry is done in two days for the standard wash, and the room is done up efficiently and well every day (I leave for two hours in the morning and when I get back, the room is already done up). Bottled water and toiletries are replenished frequently. The beds are comfortable and whatever detergent or softener is used to wash the sheets smells heavenly.
Negative: The location is not very near public transport — one has to take an ojek to the train station, though I acknowledge that this could be the norm in Indonesia. The wifi of the rooms on the 3rd floor is quite poor. The system needs resetting constantly, for every once in a while the stated wifi password will apparently be incorrect.
