Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a perfect week on Moose Pond. The house was amazing, and is such a great location to enjoy the lake. The cabin was well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the canoe and water toys were nice to have. The house is on an entrance to a quiet cove that rarely sees a lot of boat traffic, so most days are calm and smooth. The house was a perfect fit for our family of 3 and MIL, with room for more if people wanted to double up. The upstairs porch was perfect for coffee in the morning. Honestly could not ask for more on the water. I only have a few small complaints about the house, with going to the basement room. Since you need to leave the house and go around the back, some solar lighting on the steps down and pathway would help immensely. Leaving the upstairs after playing games for a few hours, it would take a few minutes for our eyes to adjust and it was really difficult to see. Of course flashlights help, but sometimes you forget them, or don't have on hand. It was also raining one night, so we got soaked just getting downstairs, there are no gutters so the entrance to the porch downstairs gets blasted with the run off from the roof. Perhaps a small awning over the screen door would help, but I think the lighting would be a bigger improvement. The downstairs bathroom could use hooks to hold wet towels, and some small shelves near the bed would be helpful for phones and reading at night, its dark in the "cave." Other than that it was a wonderful stay, and Im looking forward to next year. Thank you!!
