Positive: The hotel is in a good location for views of Mt Blanc, busses and train connections into Chamonix. The rooms are comfortable and the mountain view rooms are just that fantastic views. Very quiet. Lovely pool but cold.
Negative: This hotel was until recently Best Western, The whole ambiance and facilities were better then than now. Although quite good the breakfast ( in our opinion is overpriced) a cheaper and adequate alternative can be found in many restaurants in Chamonix. The bar has restricted hours and there are no mid day snack menu available. We did not have an evening meal there as the menu on display was never changed therefore you couldn’t rely on what was on offer. All staff were fantastic and helpful. I can only state a comparison to when I have stayed there in the past , four times the last in 2022 when still a Best Western.
Summary: Three day stopover on route Italy. Met our requirements for location, parking and comfort.
