Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun and spectacular views of the valley below. This home is at the base of Hobble Creek Canyon and 9 miles from BYU. It's the perfect gathering spot for family and friends and a great location to stay for events held throughout the year at BYU. You and your guests will enjoy the fully equipped theatre and game room in the basement with air hockey, a pool table and games. Come, have fun and make memories!
This home can comfortably sleep 18 guests in beds. You and your guests will be able to choose from 2 master suites, 2 bunkrooms and another private bedroom. The couch in the family room also pulls out to a queen bed. Each master suite has their own bathroom, then there are 2 additional full baths and 1 powder room. Between the two kitchens, you will have plenty of space to prepare meals and feed your guests. The kitchens are fully equipped with everything you will need. During your stay, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and the valley below out the main family room and dining room windows. The views are breathtaking! Expect visitors from our elk and deer friends and don't be alarmed by the sound of friendly roosters nearby.
The basement features a large sectional and big screen smart tv and lots of games to play including a pool table, air hockey, a and a variety of board games. There are two sets of washers and dryers for your laundry needs. All linens, towels and pillows are included, but please bring your own personal hygiene items including soap, shampoo and conditioner.
Located at the base of Hobble Creek Canyon, there is lots to enjoy and explore. Hobble Creek Golf Course is a short drive if you enjoy golf. There are also a variety of parks for your large outdoor family gatherings to enjoy. The canyon also makes for some great road biking, mountain biking, and hiking.
Wayne Bartholomew Family Park can be seen from the back deck of the home. It features a nice pond for swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking with nice sandy beaches and covered picnic tables. It's a family favorite for our summer visitors. Beach towels are included in the rental.
If you are in town for the various BYU events including sporting events (go Cougars!), this is a great location set apart in the mountains away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but only 9 miles from campus. Perhaps you have a student that attends BYU or UVU and you want a quiet location to visit them and host them while in town.
This home is also up the hill from a popular wedding and reception center. We have many guests that come to stay for weddings. The home comes equipped with an iron and ironing board as well as a portable hand steamer.
