Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The cottage is in a prime location with a parking space outside. Very pretty looking on the outside (the large daphne outside was in full bloom and you could smell the cottage before you saw it 🥰). It was spotlessly clean inside. Beds were very comfortable and it had a good shower.
Negative: The building is grade ll listed which means that although it is very beautiful it was a little impractical for us, it could be difficult to move around or settle down in. The stairs were particularly challenging for all of us, 3rd step particularly. Also because of the nature of the lounge it was harder to settle down comfortably to watch TV in the evening. Im not sure any of these things can be changed though and if we were not visiting with our 11 year old son would not have been too much of an issue.
