The first phase of the renovation has been designed by AD100-listed Hannes Peer Architecture, spanning 18 of the 59 guestrooms and all guest-facing spaces across four floors. The renovation introduces a Listening Bar, restaurant, terrace, lobby, in-room amenities, as well as new architectural outer skin. Set in the heart of the spa town of Merano, Aurora offers a prime riverfront location opposite the thermal baths. Guestrooms are bright and comfortable, with 18 fully renovated in a contemporary design. All accommodations include air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Upon request and for a fee, the hotel can arrange a round-trip shuttle service to nearby airports, including Bolzano, Verona, Bergamo, Milan, Venice, Treviso, Innsbruck, and Munich.
