Pratolungo è situato in Lunigiana, zona ricca di antichi borghi e castelli, ai piedi delle Alpi Apuane (montagne), famose per molti percorsi interessanti e piste ciclabili, ma allo stesso tempo a soli 20 minuti dal mare e La Spezia casa delle "5 terre".

È possibile visitare le spettacolari Cave di Marmo nelle montagne di Carrara ed esplorare i deliziosi villaggi di montagna. C'è così tanto da vedere e da fare in questo incantevole angolo della Toscana. Piccole città come Sarzana, Pontremoli, Bagnone sono tutte graziose cittadine incontaminate, c'è un grande centro commerciale a La Spezia, qui potrete anche prendere una barca per le Cinque Terre o una gita intorno alle tre isole. C'è un museo e un castello interessanti se ti piace la storia. Ci vogliono circa 15 minuti dall'autostrada per raggiungere La Spezia. Portovenere merita una visita, l'unità è spettacolare, si trova a circa 25 minuti da La Spezia.
