Positive: These are charming 1-bedroom ground-floor apartments, fully equipped with everything you might need - oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, gas BBQ(!), and two independent A/C units (one in each room). There’s a small but cozy front yard with a terrace, perfect for dining outdoors or relaxing in a rocking chair while enjoying a stunning view of the sea and lighthouse. From there, you can take a few steps, plunge into the pool, and walk back barefoot - priceless, isn’t it? Our wonderful hostess, Antonella, welcomed us warmly and provided all the information we could possibly need about the property and the area. The apartment complex sits right at the edge of a public beach, with direct access through a private locked gate. It truly feels like having your own private beach. The grounds and pool are clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by greenery. The atmosphere is calm, and the other guests are respectful and pleasant.
Negative: A few things to keep in mind: The pool is uniformly 1.60 m deep - there are no shallow areas (they have a small round paddling pool though). The volcanic black sand is incredibly fine and gets everywhere, no matter how careful you are - yes, even in your bed. Parking is on the street, and finding a spot close to the entrance can take a bit of patience.
