Positive: One of the best experiences I've had - stunning location in the hills, gorgeous gardens, the hot tub was incredible and the hosts were super friendly. This is a great alternative to staying in the busy centre of San Remo. I truly recommend this place as it was one of those places where I wish I had stayed a day or two more, that's how lovely it was.

Negative: The only problem we had was with the arrival - we were warned not to rely on the GPS but the instructions otherwise were not that clear, the best thing to do is to simply drive to San Remo itself then ask your GPS when already in San Remo city, rather than plot your route from wherever you have set out from. Hindsight is 2020 of course. We got so lost trying to find the place and arrived late, but our hosts were very gracious despite our incredibly late arrival.
