Summary: Attractive building, but question marks over management. The hotel was unusually full and our room was not available for check in even after 15.00. But this could have been predicted— it had been sold out for several nights that week even two months earlier. Also, while they moved us to somewhere else, for which we were grateful, the lights in the bathroom didn’t work, we had one set of towels between two, and the landing carpets hadn’t been vacuumed. The room itself was comfortable and quiet and with a green view and there was a nice breakfast, but the furnishing is sparse and the whole experience felt rather basic. Though admittedly the price is reasonable, the service is economy-level too.
