Summary: I knew this was a budget hotel and adjusted my expectations accordingly, but even considering that, the experience was disappointing.
I requested a street-facing room when booking but was assigned a small room overlooking a noisy, dusty construction site. The room also appeared significantly smaller than the one shown in the hotel’s website photos, which I found misleading.
Communication before arrival was unnecessarily repetitive, with staff repeatedly requesting information I had already provided.
As an Expedia Gold member, my booking included a complimentary upgrade subject to availability. Higher-category rooms were available on several booking platforms, yet management insisted there was no availability. I took screenshots and will be raising this with Expedia, as it appears inconsistent with the advertised VIP Access benefits.
The room was not properly cleaned, with long hairs present throughout, including on the bed. The mattress topper was worn out and uncomfortable, and I woke up with back pain. During my stay, housekeeping did not clean the room, empty the rubbish bin, or replace the towels.
Breakfast consisted mainly of inexpensive pre-packaged items and offered very limited choice. After the first morning, I preferred to have breakfast elsewhere.
Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Summary: Things have changed since I last stayed here. The wonderful staff who used to be at the front desk are gone. Functionally there is no front desk staff any more. You let yourself in with a code and retrieve your room keys from a lock box. All communication with the hotel is by email. You will receive emails that verge on harassing until you provide your passport details before arrival. I woke up to a message the morning after my arrival asking what time I was going to check out -- even though I wasn't checking out that day.
This used to be my favorite hotel in Athens but after this stay I cancelled my next booking for later this month. It now lacks any sense of Greek hospitality. And it seems that while it is contributing to the gentrification of the neighborhood it is no longer providing front of house employment to people who live in the neighborhood. And the labour that those people used to do is now being off loaded on to guests.

Summary: I've stayed at this hotel for the third consecutive year. The neighborhood is one of its biggest strengths: a slightly rough but up-and-coming residential area with plenty of good restaurants and cafés, close to the metro, and, in my opinion, much more enjoyable than staying in Athens' touristy city center.
Unfortunately, I feel the hotel has gradually gone downmarket over the years. The design remains attractive and is one of the reasons I keep coming back, but what once felt like a small boutique hotel now feels more like an "rental platform" apartment building. There is no staff presence anymore, guests pass through multiple ttcode-protected doors, room keys are collected from a lockbox, and soaps are provided through generic wall dispensers. The whole experience has become totally more impersonal.
This low-cost approach has not been reflected in the room rates, which remain relatively high.
Another issue is the main entrance door, which closes with a very loud "bang" every time someone enters or leaves. Rooms facing the street can also be affected by traffic and nightlife noise, especially on weekends.
Overall, I still love the neighborhood and appreciate the design, but I am increasingly disappointed compared to my previous stays.

Summary: This is a really awesome place to stay in a v cool neighbourhood. It's kind of a self-check in hotel but they do respond to queries well and breakfast is provided in the downstairs area as usual. The room was clean and comfortable. Wifi good. Smart TV big. Nice toiletries and lovely aesthetic throughout. Important to remember the entry code because you need it twice to get in to the build but they send that in your check in instructions so that's great. ONLY thing was missing was a teaspoon, and a daily nespresso pod refill. Such a nice hotel-apartment, would definitely stay again.

Summary: We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean and the location was good. Within walking distance to Ermou street and some of the sightseeing attractions. The breakfast hostess was very kind and welcoming, however, the breakfast selection was rather limited.
The service was good and very accomodating. We always received prompt replies to our inquiries.
However, not gonna lie, the overall vibe felt more like an air b&b than a traditional hotel. But it was still a great experience nonetheless!

Summary: Nice and quiet area with lovely restaurants nearby and very central to metro/bus line.
The only criticism I had was they about air conditioning unit next to bed was set on heat at 24c which I tried to change which don’t work so it was a very warm bedroom area, thankfully we had a Velux window to cool down.
Not breakfast people but went down 1 morning, nice continental selection on offer.
Definitely will be back
