Summary: I knew this was a budget hotel and adjusted my expectations accordingly, but even considering that, the experience was disappointing. I requested a street-facing room when booking but was assigned a small room overlooking a noisy, dusty construction site. The room also appeared significantly smaller than the one shown in the hotel’s website photos, which I found misleading. Communication before arrival was unnecessarily repetitive, with staff repeatedly requesting information I had already provided. As an Expedia Gold member, my booking included a complimentary upgrade subject to availability. Higher-category rooms were available on several booking platforms, yet management insisted there was no availability. I took screenshots and will be raising this with Expedia, as it appears inconsistent with the advertised VIP Access benefits. The room was not properly cleaned, with long hairs present throughout, including on the bed. The mattress topper was worn out and uncomfortable, and I woke up with back pain. During my stay, housekeeping did not clean the room, empty the rubbish bin, or replace the towels. Breakfast consisted mainly of inexpensive pre-packaged items and offered very limited choice. After the first morning, I preferred to have breakfast elsewhere. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it.
