Positive: The personal touches were lovely. The host is happy to help and offers a delicious breakfast in the morning. The pool is also a lovely touch and was great to cool down during the hot days. The room was nice and clean which is always the most important thing for us.
Negative: Maybe we read the listing wrong, but this stay is somewhere between having your private flat and staying with the host. The toilet is in a corridor that you share with the host and to be fair they did say they don't use that corridor, but it's still there and you can hear the hosts when going to the bathroom. In a nutshell, you're staying in someone's basement with no AC and paying top price because of the location. Lastly, having to pay by cash felt sketchy. If that's all ok with you, you'll have a great time.
