The Space:
Fresh mountain air greets you as you step into this quiet retreat high on the south side of Whistler Mountain. Snow-draped evergreens surround the chalet, and soft winter light filters through large picture windows while the warmth of the fireplace invites you to settle in after a day on the slopes. With ski access available from December to March, you can head straight onto the Dave Murray trail and return to the comfort of home with ease.
Living spaces
Vaulted ceilings and expansive windows frame forest and mountain views, filling the open-concept living area with natural light. Cedar and stone accents create a welcoming chalet feel, complemented by a gas-assisted wood-burning fireplace that sets the tone for cozy winter evenings indoors. Comfortable seating and a TV offer a relaxed place to unwind, while a dedicated workspace and mini bar fridge provide a quiet area when you need focus.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel Sub-zero and Miele appliances, granite counters, and the essentials for preparing meals at home. A breakfast bar seats three, and the adjacent dining area seats eight, making it easy to gather together before or after time on the mountain.
Sleeping arrangements
Sleeps 10 across 4 bedrooms and a den. The upper floor features a primary bedroom with a queen bed, TV, and a private balcony with seating. Due to its secluded location, Taluswood is best suited for guests with a vehicle. While there’s no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy both nature and convenience.
