Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We stayed at the Newburgh Inn last night as well as having a meal in the afternoon with family and honest had the best time. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was to much hassle for them. The food was exceptional in particular their chocolate fondant which I had for my pudding! If I could have taken that home with me id have been a very happy person! One person from the group had chicken fajitas and they came out sizzling still, I honestly could have gone through the menu again and again to try everything. After the meal and spending time with family we return and had a few drinks in they bar which was cozy but again we're made to feel very welcome both by the staff and the locals that were in. You can tell this place is a community hub which is lovely. We ordered a pizza which we intended to take up to our room, but needless to say the smell of the pizza meant it never made it that far and again it was delicious! 10/10 for all the food we had whilst in the area. The football match was on in the bar during our stay and the locals apologised for any noise we might hear.... well I can honestly say we heard nothing! Our room looked over the main road but there was no noise at all. The bed was very comfortable and slept soundly. It was a very relaxed and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again when in the area.

Negative: There was damage to the wall where curtain tie back had be pulled out (possibly by the sofa bed?), we couldn't get the bathroom blind raised as the cord had jumped out the runner and we struggled to get it back in and the bathroom sink also was slow draining for brushing teeth but other than that we had a brilliant stay. None of these point would stop of from staying again though
