Positive: Location is great. I have stayed in this apartment 3 or 4 times in the past and like where it is compared to where I used to live and where I need to go.
Negative: As noted, I have stayed in this apartment 3 or 4 times in the past and like coming back because of the location and (in prior years) the state of the apartment. However, the condition of the apartment has gone down over the years and it appears there has been no upkeep. It was not cleaned before my arrival - dirty dishes in the dishwasher, dirty floors, and the bed linens were practically non-existent (no fitted sheet, just a thin sheet that didn't even cover the whole bed). The toilet seat was loose. The oven range had only one burner that could be turned on. The cabinet holding the glassware was broken and would not stay open by itself. There were scuffs on the wall that were not there before. The entrance to the building smelled of rotting Asian food, which persisted the entire week I was there. Compared to earlier years, customer service was far worse as well. I had communicated with P&O repeatedly in the months leading up to my stay to deal directly with my company and to bill them. Every time they responded to a question, it was as if a brand new person had entered the chat who didn't bother to read the other comments. Up until the day before my arrival, they demanded that I pay in full, even though they had the invoice information for over a month. This was on a weekend, so my company was not open and thus I had to bear the cost myself. Then they demanded an 11 AM checkout and when I asked upon arrival if I could have a later one (I was teaching at noon and then heading to the airport, I didn't want to bring my luggage to class), they said to contact them on the day I was to leave. I contacted them the night before and they said no, no late checkout. Given the lack of cleaning, I don't know why they couldn't extend it. I travel to Warsaw a lot for work and used to live there. P&O used to be much better and it is doubtful that I will use them again after this trip.
