Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This was like staying at your favorite uncle and aunt's. Brazilians as a whole are very warm and welcoming people, and our hosts treated us like family. And the food! Prepared to order by the chef. Magnificent!

Negative: I believe this is cultural, because friends staying at other pousadas mentioned the same thing, but I would have liked a cup and washcloths in the bathroom. But this was very minor.
