The cabin is on a lot with other cabins, on the corner of two highways, 2 miles outside the Lufkin loop making it a safe and convienient transport to work or outings in town. The area is well lit and safe. Covered parking is right at the front door with lights for easy access. Lufkin has an incredible zoo, winery, distillery, brewery, antique shopping and restaurants for any craving. The largest lake in TX is 25 minutes away and Davy Crockett National forrest is just down the road for hiking and adventure. The cabin is in a rural area with no crime or safety issues. We have lived in Lufkin for 54 years and in this area for 16 years. We have no problem walking outside day or night. The queen bed in the cabin has an adjustable base to raise the head and feet to desired comfort level. No smoking or vaping inside, but there is an outside smoking area provided. Welcome!
