Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Clean apartment, comfortable beds, appreciated the washer and tumble dryer along with the fridge freezer with ice dispenser, super fast WiFi and massive Sony Bravia TV, Pots and Pans and Plates for FOUR people. Hot water on demand in the shower room, which was OK but a little dated. Plenty of car parking and given its location you really do need a car. The apartment had almost everything we needed, Safe Deposit Box would be a very good addition as would a Hair Dryer

Negative: Massively Stressful Entry and Payment issues. Didn't receive entry code,the day before as expected and actually received a message suggesting we were due to arrive there a week later than the actual booking, I did send a message confirming the correct dates, but no reply. I contacted the host by whats-app upon arrival in Barbados with no reply, tried again but still no response. Whilst on route in a taxi we sent numerous messages and called the host, No Reply ! ! were getting worried by now, Tried three more times and finally got someone, he gave me the code and said the man would be calling for the cash, (They Dont Take Card Payment) He never called the first night or the second day so basically we took US$3000 everywhere as there was no safe deposit box on site, Money was finally collected at 10;30pm on the third night. This whole process was very stressful and worrying and we actually wondered if we had any accommodation !! Never again will I pay on arrival and certainly not in cash.
