Positive: The area was stunning between the sea and the mountains. It’s conveniently located near Antibes and Cannes, and only a 50-minute drive from Nice. The apartment was spacious and had the most essentials. The large balcony offered a beautiful view of both the sea and the mountains. It was also excellent value for the price, and the availability of free parking was a bonus.
Negative: It was difficult to reach the owner (SMS and email went unanswered). Only after persistent phone calls did we get a response. Once reached, the owner was helpful. Cleaning was not as expected. There was debris on the floor and dead insects visible on the ceiling. The swimming pool was closed due to a bacterial infection, with water analysis done only two days prior to our arrival. The apartment is situated at the top of a mountain. If you have mobility issues, be aware there is a 20–30 minute walk on steep hills to reach either the nearest beach or returning. Maintenance issues were evident and notified to the owner on the first day. The refrigerator door was nearly broken. One of the kitchen cabinets was already damaged. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. There was a significant amount of black mold in the bathroom. The bathroom design is inconvenient, as the partial enclosure leads to water leakage when showering, which requires extra time and effort to clean it.
