Of course, a coastal town can't be a coastal town without its fair share of excellent fresh food and you'll find Bateau Bay is no exception. You'll find a range of restaurants on offer towards The Entrance, but you'll find the best burgers just 10 mins walk around the block.
The Entrance Visitor Centre is also a great place to explore where the local lookouts are.
By public transport, Bateau Bay is 3 hours from Sydney, and half that travel time if you're driving.
Getting Around:
There are 5 buses that run through the area and can get you to some of the closer destinations like the Jetty, but you may want the flexibility of your own car for some of the more remote scenic locations.
