Summary: Staff were very friendly and the food was good. I had an evening meal when I arrived and breakfast on the 2 days I stayed. Evening meal was a burger and 2 glasses of wine that was a little expensive but was tasty and a good atmosphere in the bar where you dine. Room (Fountain Room) was not 'en suite' which was a surprise and whilst there was a 'private bathroom' across the public corridor it wasn't ideal and could imagine might cause a problem with some guests. I also had cause to pull the bed out so I could access the plug socket (there were only two in the room), and it was evident that when cleaning the room, the beds are not pulled out to hoover. Overall would consider staying there again but probably only 50:50.
