Summary: Room 103/104 The courtyard rooms are right opposite or next to a very large fan/generator I think. And that kicks in periodically and loudly throughout the night. The breakfast was a bit of a let down to be fair. Seemed to be only one chap running around serving the drinks. The room itself is fab, and spacious, but the bed creaks, a lot, so you wake each other up turning in your sleep. Amersham itself is a lovely place and the hotel is really nice. I would still recommend, but just avoid the courtyard rooms and skip the hotel breakfast and maybe opt one of the lovely nearby cafes.
