Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Location was good and very convenient for Sandringham which was the reason we booked. Parking was also good, with plenty of room. The staff member who welcomed us on arrival was very friendly and professional. She also served well in the bar. Breakfast food was good.
Negative: The stairs were quite difficult for us (in our 70’s). The evening meal could have been better. Fish pie contained quite a lot of fish but it was a bit overcooked and vegetables not very appetising. Our first breakfast was not helped by absence of any staff member we had to go to find.
Summary: A good pub/hotel for a short stay with adequate facilities. Well located for Sandringham.
