Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Such a gorgeous, well-equipped cottage in a superb location. The cottage has been decorated and fitted to a high standard and the welcoming hosts, Tim & Nat, appear to have thought of everything with additional touches like umbrellas, games, useful information and complimentary extras. The toiletries are also lovely! Three double bedrooms with soft & comfortable beds, and lots of lovely areas to share, like the spacious lounge, outside garden with table and chairs, and kitchen table. The two car parking spaces were also very much appreciated. It really was perfect for our needs. The location (near Birdland) is just a few minutes walk into the centre, along the river and little bridges. There’s lots to see and many dog friendly pubs and restaurants too. It’s also ideally situated to explore further afield in the Cotswolds. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Lantern!
