Summary: The Prim Rose Inn is a true gem! It is perfectly situated, making it easy to stroll into the bustle of Bar Harbor, walk across to Bar Island or launch out for the day hiking. What makes it exceptional is the staff. Elle and Anna were so welcoming, provided invaluable info about great hikes, places to eat. Anna was there to greet me each night and we shared great conversations. Breakfast was delicious and arriving after 4pm to freshly baked treats was great! The kitchen staff were so accommodating. I wanted to get out by 7am to beat the heat and the crowds-no problem! Within 10 minutes I was given a breakfast box with an amazing breakfast sandwich, extra bacon, fresh fruit, and a muffin! The next morning I enjoyed a relaxed breakfast of lemon ricotta pancakes with a blueberry sauce. The inn is charming, the rooms comfortable, bathrooms spotless. I highly recommend staying at the Prim Rose!
