Summary: We had a balcony room overlooking the esplanade and beach. It was spacious, a comfortable bed, plenty of drawers and hanging space and a very large shower room with walk-in shower with slip-mat, pedestal basin and WC. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate provided with kettle and a hairdryer. The towels were white and fresh as was the bed linen. The pub itself was decorated in a nautical theme. The menu was eclectic and the portions very generous. You can dine inside or out on the terrace which was well shaded. The staff are very hard-working and nothing is a problem for them. We would certainly return. Breakfast was varied with plenty of freshly made tea and filter coffee, juices, the full English or various options. Vegetarians are well catered for too.
