Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location suited us as part of a road trip from Tirana via Pristina to Skopje and onwards. It is sited in an area that appears to be zoned for light industry - a 15 minute drive to central Pristina. We enjoyed our chats with the Manager and Receptionist. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and facilities generally were popular and well used. The hotel appears to be a very successful wedding and conference business.

Negative: We had booked a Junior Suite - the description included the word "View". We were offered a single room which was not what we expected (The word "Suite" means more than one room). Whilst no room in this hotel had a view that might be described as "Scenic" this one looked out over a flat roof. We changed to a Superior Suite which was effectively a lounge and a separate bedroom and with what I would call Juliette Balconies. .The change was amicable and the new Suite absolutely fine.

Summary: Hotel staff make stays pleasurable. That was certainly the case at the Venus Hotel.
