Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Beautiful property with great facilities including the kitchen. Various security measures (lockbox, good door lock and shutters to patio and windows which also helped keep the property cool). Owner responded very quickly to fix aircon in bedroom - replacement part fitted within a day of reporting. Shopping centre with supermarkets only 5-10 min walk.

Negative: Location wasn't ideal: 1. 20/30 min walk to city centre which was fine and felt safe enough, despite one section being unlit, although due to temperatures we only walked a few times) 2. Beaches too far to walk - uber is cheap and easily available - definitely cheaper than taxi We were aware of the above when booking so not really a complaint about the property. That said I did think that restaurants / cafes were in the area which I didn't really come across so it felt like you had to go into the city more than I expected. Knowing what I know I would hire a car for convenience although would likely not be cheaper than using Ubers. Final minor suggestions - a couple of spare pillow in the apartment would be a good idea and maybe cheap beach towels, coolpack / ice blocks for a beach visit? Although these are available at supermarket if you can't live without!
