1 Bedroom Apartment in Estate Hansen Bay, Saint John

The apartment is located on the Eastend of St. John, the quiet and least populated (if you are not counting donkeys, deer and goats) side of the island. The eastend has a simple elegant style where the beat is slower, the roads less traveled and the vibe is less forced. The east end is dryer but dramatic and beautiful. The property has beautiful views, great sun- and moonrises with nature and the soothing presence of water all around. It is only a few minutes away from several east end beaches with great snorkeling and exploring. It has a breeze on most days and it is one of the least buggy places on the island. In the winter months it can get quite windy. It is away from the crowd but only 15 minutes to the restaurants and shops in Coral Bay. The downstairs apartment provides simple island comfort with tall white walls, slate floors, ceiling fans, big mahogany doors and a spectacular view. When the main wooden sliding door is open it becomes an indoor/outdoor living space. Even though we are still working on our landscaping and the outside of our house, the rental apartment has been complete for many years and often hosts friends and family. Family with 2 children, a dog and a cat live upstairs. They love their privacy and they will give you privacy as well.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Windy Way. Very quiet- no traffic, people, etc. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Constant breeze was welcome especially at night. If you like seeing the night sky, you will be wowed by the stars, Milky Way, planets, etc.
