Positive: The apartment was fantastic! The location could not have been better. It is just a few minutes walk to two beautiful beaches, which were wonderfully quiet in October but likely busier in high season. The balcony was huge and perfect for relaxing, and the kitchen was very well equipped. From the apartment it was easy to drive to Zante Town in about 30 minutes, and local supermarkets were just 5 to 10 minutes away. The setting is wonderfully remote, ideal for relaxing, and located in one of the most beautiful parts of the island away from the busy resorts. The olive grove surrounding the property was incredible, and Yannis even left us the most delicious olive oil, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Negative: Some might find the apartment dated but we liked it's traditional feel and character. The shower is on the smaller side, and there is no dishwasher. These were concessions we were happy to make because there were no neighbours and the setting was so incredible. You do need a car in this location, but the peace and beauty make it more than worth it.
