Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We booked this property for a business stay, and it honestly couldn’t have been better. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The place was absolutely spotless, beautifully presented, and exactly as described—if not better. It offered fantastic value for money and felt like a real find.

Negative: We were advised that contractors are not normally accepted and that our booking had "slipped through the net." Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have encountered this during bookings in Cornwall. In our experience working across the UK, Cornwall is the only area where we have repeatedly come across restrictions on contractors staying in holiday accommodation. We find this surprising, as a booking is a booking regardless of whether guests are travelling for leisure or work. Our team has an excellent track record with consistently positive reviews, and we always treat properties with respect. We are currently working on refurbishing and maintaining stores for a well-known high street retailer, helping to support local businesses and communities. While we respect that owners can choose their preferred guests, it is disappointing to feel that contractors are viewed differently despite our professional conduct and strong booking history.
